Turn photos into private observation pages from a journey: journals, sketchbook publications, and small exhibition pieces. The upper half preserves a recognizable original photo; the lower half uses only an ordinary blue ballpoint pen and cheap lined paper. The lines must pass through the drawing. Light and dark are created with structural hatching, not digital gray. Some areas are extremely dense, while adjacent areas stop abruptly. Keep hand pressure, hesitation, repeated corrections, and the search for lines. The subject may be off-center, cropped, or partly missing. If text appears, it must be a few words written casually with the same pen. Avoid polished illustration, complete backgrounds, photo outlines, smooth shading, tidy vectors, and commercial sketching.
